The goal I had when I set out on this project was to learn more about modular asset creation, lighting, and texturing within Substance Designer.
I wanted to take this concept and work from it in developing my knowledge of modular environment workflows, lighting, and tileable materials via Substance Designer. I also wanted to work with baked lighting in UE4, as my previous environments hadn't focused on that nearly as much as I'd have liked. I also learned to use some particle effects to create thicker fog around the tops of the buildings.
The project was definitely a learning experience and as always goes to show how there's always more to improve and learn!
